Back in the day, I also wanted to be a knitwear designer. Then I got a design in this glossy, and decided I'd rather keep the knitting as a hobby.

I designed and hand knitted for the long sleeveless cardigan. (The knitwear editor at the time didn't knit.) I also worked out the pattern so that readers could knit it. I regularly knit still but it's usually novelty sweaters for kids these days.

Runner up in the Strand on the Green Photographic Competition 2023. Out of 150+ entries. This photograph is now displayed in the Jubilee Tunnel under Kew Bridge.

A heart and arrow I wove from willow created for a Valentine’s window display in a London florist’s shop. They added the flowers. I regularly teach willow weaving.
