I'm an award-winning scriptwriter and film maker, working mostly through my own company Hurcheon Films (https://hurcheonfilms.com) as well as other production companies as a writer and/or director.
In 2021, I've completed two short films (shot during 2020) with another in pre-production, and I'm finessing what I aim to be my feature debut and developing other TV and film projects with my literary agent.
As you'll see elsewhere on the website, I'm an established journalist but I've also published short stories and joke books. My latest commission is a radio drama that will produced as a podcast in June 2021.
"What did you do in the war, Mama?" is a 60 minute audio play written by me that will be directed by Laurel Parker as a podcast for Towton Audio. Production is hoped to be completed by June 2021.

These are stills for the original Japanese/USA version of “Ninja Warrior”. I wrote over 80 scripts of narration and ‘as live’ comedy commentary for the UK re-versioning (Challenge TV/Pintsize Pictures)
A heart and arrow woven from willow created for a Valentine’s window display in a London florist’s shop. They added the flowers. I regularly teach willow weaving.
I designed, knitted and created the pattern for the long sleeveless cardigan which was featured in the UK edition of "Vogue".
